Gateway Bolt

Solar-powered LoRa to 4G and Wi-Fi gateway that goes where there is no power outlet.

The problem
A gateway has to sit where the sensors are — and that is rarely next to a power outlet.
The solution
A LoRa to 4G and Wi-Fi gateway in which KIWI, with impedance matching and MPPT, gets the most out of a small solar panel.
The result
A gateway that runs on a small solar panel and sends data to the cloud over Wi-Fi and 4G, with no power line.

What KIWI does here

Energy source
Light (small solar panel)
What KIWI adds
Impedance matching + MPPT
Communication
Wi-Fi and 4G to the cloud

The same energy management as in our lighting: impedance matching plus MPPT raise the share of solar energy that reaches the battery.

That lets the gateway run on a small solar panel in many applications, while it forwards the data to the cloud over Wi-Fi and 4G.
