Development services
Our business is developing technology that creates value for our customers. We sell the KIWI chip and the licence to embed the technology in your product — and our team, a large part of it R&D, walks the rest of the journey with you.
Two ways to work with us
Buy the KIWI chip
Design the chip into your product, with our engineers supporting the energy budget, the layout and the validation.
Licence and co-development
Embed the technology in your own product or silicon, with our team developing it together with yours.
And we build it with you, end to end
What is customisable, and what is fixed.
A licence is not a take-it-as-is part number. This is the scope we adjust per project.
- 50 Hz to 150 MHz, adjusted per application to the dominant field in your installation.
- The Antiwire™ antenna in the base version; customised to your mechanics where the enclosure or the mounting demands it.
- Capacitor, supercapacitor or lithium cell, chosen from your peak current, duty cycle and required service life.
- 1.5 V to 5.0 V, configured to the rail your circuit already uses — no external regulator.
- Continuous or intermittent, set by the duty cycle and the energy budget rather than by the part.
- Optional signals such as enable and energy-ready, defined jointly with your firmware team.
- Customisable for the final product. The published 8-pad map is a recommended default, not a constraint.
- Device, or licence and co-development of the technology.
How a project starts
Tell us about your product
The load rail, the average consumption, the peak current and the installation environment.
Energy budget and feasibility
We check whether the energy available closes the budget, and size storage, output and duty cycle.
Prototype and validation
A working prototype, measured in your real environment — not only on a bench.
